About This Practitioner

Dr. Mary DaCosta is a board-certified Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine physician dedicated to helping patients achieve healthier lives through preventative care and lifestyle-focused treatment. She earned her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University and completed her residency training at Medical City Arlington.

Dr. DaCosta has special expertise in chronic disease management, obesity medicine, and personalized health coaching. She is passionate about empowering patients with evidence-based strategies to improve long-term health outcomes.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. DaCosta has been active in research, teaching, and community outreach, with a focus on advancing preventative care and reducing health disparities.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys drawing, design, and staying active through walking and running.
